Los Angeles Food Tour

Los Angeles is a true melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities. Discover culinary delights from all over the world without leaving the city on this tour of Koreatown, Little Armenia and Thai Town.

Los Angeles Food Tour Itinerary

Meet your guide at 3355 Wilshire Boulevard, one of the main streets in Los Angeles. From here, you'll set off on your foodie route of some of the area's most vibrant neighbourhoods. Get ready to immerse yourself in the incredible fusion of cultures that make the Californian city so exciting.

During your guided tour, you'll explore a handful of LA's lesser known - but no less interesting - districts. As well as discovering their fascinating history, you'll have the opportunity to taste some of the local delicacies, typical of the different cultures that you'll find along the route. Try Armenian, Thai and Korean, without leaving the United States!

Your tour will begin in Koreatown, one of Los Angeles' most diverse neighbourhoods. Wander the streets of the cultural enclave, spotting Korean karaoke bars alongside signs of the other ethnic communities in the area. You'll hear all about the local cuisine, as well as tasting some of the district's most typical dishes, including kimchi, or salty pickled vegetables.

Next, pretend you're an LA local as you hop on the bus to take you from Koreatown to Little Armenia. Located in East Hollywood, the area is home to a large community of Armenian immigrants who have brought their culture to the city. You'll feel as though you've travelled to the other side of the world! Here, you'll taste a local speciality: lahmacun, a Middle Eastern flatbread covered in meat, sometimes called an Armenian pizza.

Continue your guided food tour to the neighbouring district of Thai Town and delight your senses with the sights, smells and tastes of Thailand on offer here. You'll sample a number of delicacies including curry, soup, chicken and fish made according to the tradition of the South-East Asian country. Full of food and stories about the lively areas you have visited, your tour will end at the Hollywood/Western Metro stop on the red line.
