Cross-Country Skiing
We'll meet you at the Amethys store in Luosto at your chosen time. The guide starts by giving a brief presentation on the basic techniques for cross country skiing. Then its time to begin our experience of Lapland's favorite sport!
We will put on our skis, grab our poles, and head into the winter wonderland of Pyhä-Luosto National Park. As we make our way through this breathtaking white wilderness, you will be overwhelmed by a wonderful sense of peace and tranquility.
Cross-country skiing is an essential part of Finnish culture and children learn it as soon as they start walking. We'll stop at a campsite to rest and regain our strength sipping a tasty hot drink next to a warm fire.
Then it is time to return to the original starting point, where the activity finishes after two and a half hours.
