On this boat tour and snorkeling trip with dolphins, we'll visit a marine reserve in the Red Sea and swim near these cetaceans.
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Marsa Alam at the designated time and head to Hamata port, where we'll board a boat to reach Sataya Reef marine reserve. Did you know it's renowned as the home of the Red Sea spinner dolphins?
During the 2-hour snorkeling session, we'll explore vibrant coral reefs and swim alongside these friendly cetaceans. We'll get to see the dolphins showcase their acrobatic skills as they gracefully spin and jump out of the water!
After snorkeling, we'll return to the boat, where a delicious buffet lunch with refreshing drinks and fresh fruit will be served. Following the meal, we'll embark on a boat tour around Sataya Reef, exploring its hidden caves and tunnels. Along the way, we might even encounter other marine life and colorful-winged insects like butterflies.
Finally, we'll sail back to Hamata port, where the vehicle will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Marsa Alam. The estimated arrival time is approximately 9 hours after initial pickup.
Pickup is also available from Marsa Alam International Airport. However, please note that this transfer carries an additional cost of 10EUR per person. When booking, you'll be asked to specify whether you would like to be picked up from the airport or your hotel.
Please note that sightings of animals in their natural habitat depend on meteorological and biological factors that are beyond our control. Therefore, although the main destination is Sataya Reef, if conditions do not guarantee an encounter with dolphins, the itinerary may be modified to visit Samadai Reef, also known as Dolphin House.
Both locations are the two best areas for dolphin sightings in the Red Sea, so this change would always be made with the aim of maximising the chances of swimming with them wherever they are on that day.
