Miraflores Free Tour
Miraflores Free Tour
We'll meet at San Antonio tram station at 2 pm to start our walking tour of the Miraflores and Buenos Aires neighbourhoods, located in Medellín's 9th District.
Our tour will begin with a tram ride to the Miraflores station, where we'll delve into the area's architecture, the local way of life and the neighbourhood's rich culture.
Afterwards, we'll board the Metrocable, which is almost 1,000 feet (300 metres) high. On this aerial lift transportation system, the first of its kind in South America, you'll see breathtaking panoramic views of the city.
Then, after getting out of the cabins, the guide will then tell us some stories about important figures in the local community and we'll walk through the streets of this famous neighbourhood. We'll stop at the enchanting Ayacucho murals, situated outside the Music Schools Network and in front of the House of Memory Museum.
After 3 hours of strolling through the Miraflores, we'll finish the tour at 5 pm at Memory House Museum.
