Ferry to Miyajima + Itsukushima Tickets
How to Get to Miyajima?
After meeting at Hiroden-Miyajimaguchi Station, we'll walk to the coast to board the ferry, which will take us across the Seto Inland Sea to the charming island of Miyajima in just 10 minutes. Let's set sail!
Famous for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning natural beauty, the island of Miyajima is home to Itsukushima Shrine. On arrival, we'll be greeted by its iconic red floating torii gate, which appears to rise from the water at high tide, providing the perfect backdrop for some unforgettable photos. You'll have half an hour of free time there to explore.
Next, we'll give you just over 1.5 hours to stroll through the island's charming streets, visit some other temples and enjoy the local specialities. Don't forget to try the famous Miyajima oysters and the momiji manju, delicious pastries shaped like maple leaves.
You'll also encounter the friendly deer that roam freely around the island, adding a unique charm to the experience.
Finally, we'll take the ferry back to the starting point.
