Calling all reggae lovers! If you want to delve into Bob Marley's origins, we'll pick you up from your hotel or the cruise port in Montego Bay and head to Nine Mile, the legendary musician's birthplace.
After a 2-hour drive, we'll arrive at this place nestled in the mountains of Jamaica's interior. Once there, we'll be greeted by a member of the Marley family or a close friend of the composer. They will tell us some anecdotes about the musician as we tour the town.
Then we'll visit Bob Marley's house, which is now a museum with exhibitions of his personal belongings. We'll discuss the Rastafarian movement that the musician brought to an international audience, and even attend a live reggae show!
We'll also visit Bob Marley's mausoleum, where his remains rest. People usually take off their shoes before they enter as a sign of respect and admiration for this world-renowned musician.
At the end of the tour, we'll return to Montego Bay and drop you off at your hotel or the cruise port, 6 hours after departure.
