If you have never scuba dived, this beginner's scuba diving in Nice is the ideal option to learn how to explore the seabeds of the Côte d'Azur. It will be an unforgettable experience!
Nice, One of the Best Places to Scuba Dive in the Côte d'Azur
What are the seabeds of the Côte d'Azur like? If you've never scuba dived in the sea and want to learn, we'll meet at the scuba diving center located at Quai des Deux Emmanuels, number 13, next to the port of Nice. Are you ready for an unforgettable experience in the Mediterranean Sea?
First, a certified scuba diving instructor will provide a short safety briefing of about 10 minutes. After the lesson, we'll gear up with the scuba diving equipment that includes a wetsuit, fins, mask, regulator, tank, and buoyancy vest. You'll be given all the material!
Once we're ready with everything we need, we'll set off from the port of Nice on a small boat, where we'll sail toward the area of the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer or its surroundings in Nice.
When we find a safe place to dive, we'll drop anchor to enjoy this beginner's scuba diving lesson. We'll go on a dive to a depth of ft (6 m) that will last between 20 and 40 minutes per person, and it will be supervised by the instructor at all times. You won't have to worry about a thing!
During the scuba diving session in this area of the French Riviera, you may spot examples of native marine fauna: curious octopuses, majestic groupers, elegant moray eels, and shimmering schools of silvery fish gliding among the reefs will take center stage.
Finally, we'll return to the boat to start our journey back to the starting point, where we'll conclude this activity of 2.5 to 3 hours.
