Crystal clear waters, corals, reef sharks, sea turtles and much more! Discover the underwater world of Nilaveli with this diving activity for certified divers.
At the time you choose, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Nilaveli. From there we'll take you to the diving centre where you'll meet your instructor who'll briefly explain what the day's dive will consist of.
Then we'll hop on the boat and get kitted out as we sail the waters of Nilaveli. During the boat ride to our dive spot, we'll get to admire the spectacular surroundings such as Pigeon Island.
We'll complete one or two dives, depending on the option you book, and enjoy exploring the magnificent seabed of the Indian Ocean. We're sure to come across colorful fish, rays, sea turtles and maybe even a blacktip reef shark!
After the dive, we'll head back to the diving centre and drop you off at your hotel.
To be able to participate in this activity, you must have an International Open Water Diver Certificate or similar.
This activity includes pick up from hotels located in Nilaveli. If you're staying elsewhere, you'll need to make your own way to Ward No. 1, 9th Mile Post.
After the activity, you must wait at least 24 hours before flying or going to areas of high altitude.
