The rainforest on Jamaica's north coast awaits us on this day trip from Ocho Ríos. To begin with, we'll pick you up at your hotel or at the cruise port and start this exciting day trip.
First, we'll take a stop at a local store where you can pick up some local souvenirs and perhaps some water shoes for what's to come later. Then, we'll head out of the city, into the lush hills.
Our next stop of the day will be at the Dunn's River Falls. When we arrive at the foot of the falls, you'll most likely see tourists climbing the rocks. If you have ever dreamed of walking on water, now is your chance!
Then, we'll head to a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional Jamaican lunch consisting of local specialities such as fish, jerk chicken, rice and peas, and a drink. Vegan options will also be available upon request. It will be delicious!
After lunch, we'll make our way to the Blue Hole, a natural pool with stunning turquoise waters and a beautiful waterfall. As soon as you arrive at this magical spot, you'll be completely captivated by the pools, which seem to have been specially designed for everyone who passes by to take a dip. Jump in!
As well as that, in the surroundings of the Blue Hole, you can take the time to treat yourselves to the island's typical beer: Red Stripe. You can also delight your palate by getting some seasonal fruits or tropical drinks served in coconuts. Could there be a more Caribbean plan?
Finally, after a total of 5 hours, we'll say our goodbyes back at your hotel. Until next time!
