At 9:15 am, we'll meet up at the Oropesa del Mar Tourist Office and board our minibus to set off for Morella, which is just 71 miles (115 kilometres) away.
Did you know that Morella is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain? We'll soon see why as we pass through the majestic San Miguel Gate and head towards the town's old quarter.
Stately mansions, stone arches and cobbled streets define Morella, which is centuries-old. As we stroll through its historic centre, we'll talk about its important medieval heritage, which is reflected in its mile-long (2-kilometre) city walls, 10 towers and 7 gates.
At midday, you'll have some free time to eat lunch and sample the local gastronomy. Feeling fuelled up and ready to go, we'll head to an artisanal honey shop in Morella. If you've got a sweet tooth, you'll love it!
Our next stop will be the Morella Basilica, which is one of the most iconic religious buildings in the Levantine municipality. You'll love the decorations we'll see inside!
We'll also visit the exterior of Morella Castle and learn all about the history of this fortress. You'll then have 1 hour of free time to visit it or get lunch and do some shopping if you'd prefer.
It'll then be time to take the minibus back to Oropesa del Mar, where we'll arrive at 7:15 pm.
