Tour Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at JR Osaka-Jo Koen Station. From there, we'll make our way towards the magnificent Osaka Castle, just a 10-minute walk away. Ready to explore this symbol of Japan's feudal past?
Upon arrival at Osaka Castle, we'll step inside the Osaka Castle Museum and uncover the stories of legendary samurai, dramatic battles, and the ambitious shogun Toyotomi Hideyoshi. You'll be fascinated by the events that have taken place in the castle since its construction in the 16th century.
To put the cherry on the cake of our visit, we'll head to the castle's observation deck, where we'll take in panoramic views of the city skyline. Don't forget to snap some photos!
Next, we'll stroll through the Nishinomaru Garden, a tranquil former samurai residence filled with seasonal cherry blossoms and breathtaking views of the castle. As we walk through this peaceful oasis, you'll have time to snap some more photos.
Our tour will continue with a walk through Osaka Castle Park, a lively space where locals jog, practice martial arts, or enjoy the historic surroundings. Along the way, our guide will share fascinating insights into the castle's strategic importance and its influence on modern Osaka.
We'll also visit Miraiza Osaka, a site with a rich history as the former headquarters of the Japanese Imperial Army’s 4th Division and a former museum.
Our tour will conclude at the Hokoku Shrine, dedicated to Toyotomi Hideyoshi and his family. Here, we'll be able to take in the shrine's peaceful atmosphere and capture some final photos.
Finally, after a total of 3 hours, we'll bring the tour to an end at the Hokoku Shrine. Until next time!
