Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Oslo to board a ferry that will take us on a tour of Lindøya and Hovedøya islands, nestled in the Oslo Fjord. Let's sail!
Our first stop will be the historic island of Hovedøya, known for its lush vegetation and historic ruins. We'll visit the fascinating remains of an almost 1,000-year-old abbey and the 19th-century city walls. We'll tell you the stories behind these monuments and give you an ideal insight into Norwegian culture.
Then, we'll head to Lindøya, an island that has about 300 traditional wooden cabins painted in lively colors and separated by trails covered in flowers. . This place is famous among locals during the summer when it turns into the perfect getaway for disconnecting.
There, we'll stop so you can have lunc hand enjoy its fascinating natural landscapes at your own pace. Don't forget your camera!
After discovering these two charming places around Oslo, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll arrive 3.5 to 4.5 hours later.
Important Notice for Tours from May to August 2026
During the summer period, due to the official Oslo ferry timetables, we'll follow an alternative itinerary. During these dates, we'll skip Hovedøya and instead discover the spectacular island of Gressholmen and one of the famous traditional cabin islands, Lindøya or Nakholmen. Please note that on the day of the tour, we may visit a different island depending on availability.
