Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to begin an unforgettable tour. We'll board a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and set off for our highlight: the stunning Pamukkale complex and the historic ancient city of Hierapolis.
We’ll start by exploring the archaeological site of Hierapolis, accompanied by our expert guide. As we wander amongst the ruins, we’ll take a journey back in time to uncover the secrets of this ancient Hellenistic spa town. We’ll admire its impressive necropolis, the remains of the Temple of Apollo and the majestic Roman Theatre, whose stands will leave you speechless.
Next, we’ll head to the famous ‘Cotton Castle’ of Pamukkale, a natural wonder declared a World Heritage Site. These unique, dazzling white travertine terraces are home to natural pools of turquoise thermal waters. You’ll have free time to walk barefoot on the limestone terraces, relax and capture the best photos of the landscape.
During the tour, you'll also have the chance to visit the famous Cleopatra’s Pool, an ancient thermal pool surrounded by submerged Roman columns, where you can take a dip if you wish.
After completing the tour of the ruins and terraces, we'll head to a local restaurant to refuel with a well-deserved lunch. We'll enjoy a culinary break before setting off on the return journey.
Finally, we'll conclude the activity by returning to the starting point or continuing on to your final destination in Izmir, depending on the option you have chosen.

- Tour from Pamukkale: this option includes pickup from your hotel in the Pamukkale area, the full guided tour, entrance fees and lunch, and return transport to your accommodation in Pamukkale at the end of the tour.
- Tour from Karahayit: if you're staying in the neighbouring spa town of Karahayit, this option includes pickup directly from your hotel in this area, the full guided tour and the return transfer to your accommodation.
- Tour from Pamukkale ending in Izmir: perfect if you want to make the most of the day to travel between cities. We'll pick you up from your hotel in Pamukkale for the guided tour and, after lunch, we'll continue the journey by road to your hotel or destination in Izmir.
- Tour from Karahayit ending in Izmir: with this option, we'll pick you up from your accommodation in Karahayit to take you on the full tour of the archaeological site and the travertines. Once the tour and lunch are finished, we'll take you directly to the city of Izmir.
