Day Trip Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Parnaíba, we’ll set off to explore the coastline of Piauí, a stretch of Brazil known for its natural beauty and diverse ecosystems.
Our first stop will be Atalaia Beach, a long expanse of pale sand where you can feel the ocean breeze and take in the open horizon. From there, we’ll continue to Coqueiro Beach, a tropical setting lined with rows of palm trees.
Next, we’ll visit the unique Árvore Penteada, a tree shaped by constant coastal winds into a striking, sculptural form. It’s one of the area’s most curious natural landmarks and a popular photo spot.
We’ll then head to Macapá Beach, known for its steady winds that attract kitesurfers from around the world. If you join the tour between July and October, you may see colorful kites filling the sky. When it’s time for lunch, we’ll stop for about an hour so you can eat at your own pace at a local restaurant on Coqueiro or Macapá Beach.
Our next destination will be Barra Grande, a peaceful village where life moves slowly and the sea is usually calm. The clear waters are ideal for a swim, and the marine environment remains largely unspoiled.
To round off the day, we’ll visit the impressive Cajueiro Rei, a giant cashew tree that spreads out like a living maze. It’s considered one of the largest cashew trees in Brazil and makes a great final stop for photos.
After approximately 6 hours, we’ll return to Parnaíba and drop you off at your hotel.
