With your ticket to the Sanctuary of Truth, you'll discover one of the treasures of Thailand and find out all about Eastern philosophy!

Why Visit the Sanctuary of Truth?

Standing tall at the shore of the Gulf of Thailand is one of the most striking Buddhist-Hindu temples in Thailand: the Sanctuary of Truth. This temple. over 100 meters tall (328 feet) was built entirely out of wood, perfectly combining the most important elements of Eastern religion and philosophy.

Inside, you'll find figures carved in the wood that are said to represent the seven creators: heaven, earth, moon, father, mother, sun, and stars. You'll be amazed by the detailed decoration of the temple's walls.

You can also wander around the four sections of the Sanctuary of Truth, discovering the artistic references to the origins of the universe and of parental love. As you walk inside the temple, you'll see that each detail has a meaning.

What's more, throughout the day you'll also see shows in which professional dancers perform the most typical dances in Thailand, such as the dance with bamboo sticks.
