At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Pedernales to start this trip to the Larimar mines. Let's go!
Once we arrive, we'll enter the Larimar mines, where we'll have the opportunity to see the extraction of this unique semi-precious blue-coloured stone. We'll learn about the whole process of larimar selection, and see first-hand how the miners work to obtain this beautiful gemstone.
Then, we'll continue our tour to the Larimar Workshop School and Museum, where we'll appreciate the jewellery made by local artisans. You'll also have the opportunity to purchase some of these pieces as souvenirs if you wish, and take a piece of this Dominican treasure home with you!
Afterwards, we'll head to Paraíso beach, where we'll enjoy a delicious lunch in front of the sea. You'll be able to relax and enjoy the scenery while savouring a typical meal of the region. Finally, you'll have free time to enjoy the beach before returning to your accommodation.
After 6 hours in total, we'll finish our trip to the Larimar mines back at your hotel in Pedernales.
