Snorkeling in Berlenga Grande
At 8:30 am, we'll meet up at Casal Ponte de Peniche, where we'll give you the snorkeling equipment. After that, we'll go to the port to board the speedboat that will take us out onto the water.
After a fun 45-minute journey, we'll arrive at Berlenga Grande, an island with an extraordinary ecosystem. We'll put on our equipment and make the first dive of the day. We'll spend 30 minutes swimming among natural arches and caves and admiring the Atlantic marine biodiversity. If you're lucky, we may even spot an amazing sunfish or schools of other colorful fish.
Around 12 pm, we'll have a traditional cream cake, fresh fruit and water aboard the boat. Feeling energised, we'll set sail again to the spot where we'll jump into the water again.
With our goggles and fins on, we'll snorkel for 40 minutes around Fort San Juan Bautista in search of octopus, cod, and small corals. Afterward, we'll take the boat back to the port of Peniche.
Our snorkeling activity will come to an end back at the meeting point between 2:30 and 3 pm.
