Discover Costa Rica's deeply rooted traditions with this cultural tour of the Diamante Eco Park. Sugar, coffee, cocoa, and the animal sanctuary!
We'll meet at the Diamante Eco Park at the time of your choice. Our first stop will be an animal sanctuary. Did you know that it's one of the most important wildlife refuges in Costa Rica?
We'll walk through its lush gardens, where birds and crocodiles live. In addition, we'll see the most beloved inhabitants of the sanctuary: the sloths. Then, we'll head to La Casita, where the cultural experience begins!
In this area of the Diamante Eco Park, designed in a traditional style, we'll discover the way of life of rural Costa Rica. We'll see cocoa plants and learn how their fruits end up becoming chocolate.
We'll feel like real locals as we talk about coffee, the country's star product! Then we'll walk along a path to learn about a deep-rooted tradition: the cultivation of sugar cane. We'll take some and, using the press, we'll make a typical freshwater drink.
After a two-hour tour, we'll finish the activity.
