In this sea lion watching activity in Plettenberg Bay, you'll sail along the Robberg Peninsula to discover the curiosities of these animals in their natural habitat.
At your selected time, we'll meet at Central Beach and board a boat to cruise the waters of Plettenberg Bay in search of some friendly sea lions. Let the adventure begin!
Once on the boat, we'll begin sailing along the coast of South Africa while taking in the beautiful rugged scenery of the bay. This ecosystem is not only home to sea lions, we may also get lucky and see dolphins, white sharks and seabirds!
We'll eventually reach the vicinity of the Robberg Peninsula, the habitat of a large colony of Cape sea lions. There we'll tell you all about this species known for being a calm and friendly animal in the water. It is not uncommon to see them swimming alongside divers!
From here, we'll get to see first-hand how they interact with each other and how they play both on land and in the sea - a true spectacle of nature!
After an hour and a half, the sea lion watching activity will conclude with our arrival back in Plettenberg Bay.
