On this snorkelling activity on the Great Barrier Reef, we'll set sail on the Calypso catamaran and explore the longest reef in the world, a unique experience!
Great Barrier Reef Snorkeling Experience
At the designated time, we'll board the Calypso catamaran from Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, leaving Port Douglas out into the waters of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. The impressive 1,615-mile-long reef (2,600 kilometres) can be seen from space. It's so big!
As well as being the largest in the world, this barrier reef is home to enormous biodiversity and is inhabited by a multitude of species of fish, dolphins, whales, turtles and many other marine animals.
We'll sail the boat to an ideal spot to snorkel and admire the seabed of the Great Barrier Reef. As we swim among the reefs, keep your eyes peeled for clown fish, parrot fish, sea turtles, sea rays, cod and giant clams!
Throughout the activity, we'll make stops to snorkel at different points of the reef so as not to miss out on any of its beauty! Between the first and second dives, we'll serve you a delicious buffet lunch on board with meat, fish, veggies, salads and fruit, and between the second and fourth dives, you can enjoy afternoon tea.
Afterward, we'll start our return to Port Douglas, where we'll finally say our goodbyes after a total of 8 hours.
