Pyhä Ice Climbing Course
We'll meet at 9 am at the Pyhätunturi Hotel and head into the Pyhä-Luosto National Park. Surrounded by snow, we'll walk along a path until we reach the frozen area. The landscape will leave you speechless!
First of all, we'll receive an introduction from the guide and get kitted out in our helmet, goggles and harness. Ready to climb? We'll learn to use equipment such as ice axes and crampons as well as learn to tie safety knots in the ropes. We'll also enjoy abseiling back down!
During the activity, we'll take a half an hour break so you can get something to eat.
The activity will end at 5 pm back at the starting point.
- You can only do the course if you already have climbing experience indoors.
The minimum age to take part in this activity is 16 years old.
