We'll pass by the Latvian National Opera, a building built at the end of the 18th century with period features, next to the memorial of the famous ballet dancer Maris Liepa. We'll also admire Spīķeri, a historic area with former cargo warehouses that today has been transformed into a modern and vibrant cultural district.
Afterwards, we'll go into the Dauvaga River, from where we'll have views of the Old Town, including Riga Castle on one side and more modern buildings, such as the Latvian National Library, on the other. You'll also see the towers of St. Peter's Church, Riga Cathedral and St. James Cathedral in Riga.
The highlight of the cruise will be the audio guide in English available on board, which will provide you with detailed information about each point of interest you see, as well as the history and culture of the city.
