Get your adrenaline pumping on this quad tour of the Deserto de Viana and Cabo de Santa María. You'll explore wild beaches, a famous stranded ship, and white dunes. You're in for a fun ride!
Activity Details
At the designated time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Sal Rei and travel in a comfortable vehicle to our starting point for our quad tour around the Deserto de Viana and Cabo de Santa María. And so our quad adventure begins!
We'll begin our tour by driving to the north of the island to reach one of the most photographed spots in Cape Verde: the beach of Cabo Santa María. In this wild and practically unexplored beach, you'll find the iconic ship stranded since 1968, a Spanish freighter that sailed on these waters, which has become a symbol of Boa Vista today. Don't forget to take a picture!
After admiring this impressive metal skeleton in front of the Atlantic Ocean, we'll continue our tour and explore one of the most surreal landscapes of the island: the Deserto de Viana. This area, declared one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Cape Verde, will leave you breathless with its white dunes that extend over the horizon. Did you know it's shaped by the wind?
After going up and down the dunes, we'll begin our journey back. We'll leave the quads and return to your hotel in Sal Rei, where we'll conclude this 2.5 to 3-hour tour
