On this self-guided day trip to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, you'll discover two of Campania's most emblematic tourist attractions with an audio guide in English. Don't miss it!
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point you selected to set off toward Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius, two emblematic sites in Campania you'll visit at your own pace.
After a journey of between 40 to 50 minutes, we'll reach the Vesuvius National Park, the first stop on this day trip. Here, you'll have 1.5 hours of free time to climb up to the top and enjoy the views at your own pace. Did you know that its last eruption, which happened in 1944, lasted almost 10 days?
Once we've explored this iconic crater, we'll hop on the minibus again. In about 40 minutes, we'll reach our next destination, the ruins of Pompeii, tragically buried by the eruption of the year 79 AC. Here, equipped with a map and an audio guide in English, you'll freely explore the area, stopping at the main points of interest.
Plus, to make the experience even easier, we'll provide an itinerary that lasts a total of 2 hours so you won't miss anything in this archeological site. The House of the Faun, the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, the Stabian Baths, the Forum, and the Temple of Apollo await!
Finally, we'll regroup at the minibus to return to our initial starting point. We'll wrap up our day trip after a total of 6 and 7.5 hours.
Audio Guide
Please note that an audio guide in English is available at the Pompeii Archeological Park. In the Vesuvius National Park, you'll embark on a self-guided tour, as there is no audio guide available.
