Tribal Village Private Trip
We'll collect you from your hotel in Saly and then begin our fascinating trip to discover the traditions and way of life of Senegal's indigenous cultures. We'll visit the tribal village of either the Serer or Fulani people, two of the country's main tribes.
You'll learn all about the tribe's customs, how their society is organized, how they build houses and schools, and many more fascinating details during your visit. Our professional guide will also tell you all about the characteristics of each community. The Serer is the largest indigenous group in the country and are followers of the Christian religion. The Fulani are Muslim and live a nomadic way of life.
You'll also share some moments with these communities going about their day-to-day lives. You will see them using the same traditional techniques of fishing or shepherding which they have been using for many centuries. If you're lucky, you'll also see a marketplace selling many traditional products, handcrafted by the local inhabitants.
We'll return to Saly at around 12 pm, where we drop you back off at your hotel.
