Tour Details
We'll meet on the corner of Juárez Street on Progreso Street to begin this tram tour of the old town of San Pedro Tlaquepaque. Are you ready to embark on a cultural adventure around this Pueblo Mágico?
During the journey, this traditional vehicle will stop at the following points of interest: the Casa del Artesano, the Plaza Amantolli, the Plaza Pavo Real, the Plazoleta del Arte, and the Azulejos Talavera Cantú Gallery. In each of these spots, you'll have between 10 to 15 minutes to explore and enjoy the local atmosphere.
To make this experience even sweeter, you can taste a typical treat. Depending on the day and time, you'll also be able to enjoy a refreshing nieve de garrafa or a raspado. You're in for an authentic flavor explosion!
Finally, after this 1-hour tram ride through Tlaquepaque, we'll conclude our tour at the starting point.
El Refugio Cultural Center & National Ceramics Award Museum
During the booking process, you can choose the tour option that includes tickets to the El Refugio Cultural Center and the National Ceramics Award Museum along with your tram ride.
The El Refugio Cultural Center is set in a historic building from 1885, where you can explore its gardens, corridors, and exhibition spaces. At the National Ceramics Award Museum, you'll find pieces that have won the Pantaleón Panduro National Ceramics Award, a contest that has been held for over 40 years.
Tram Schedule
The Tlaquepaque tram operates Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and runs every 60 minutes. The last departure is at 5 pm.
