To begin with, we'll go to one of the most iconic sites of the city, the place where Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria was assassinated. Here we'll learn all about how this crucial moment altered history forever and triggered the start of the First World War.
Next, we'll make our way to the Tomb of the Seven Brothers, one of the most mysterious monuments in Sarajevo. Nearby, we'll find the Church of St. Anthony of Padua and the Emperor's Mosque. Did you know that this was the first mosque in the city, and who it was named after? We'll find out! The tour will continue in front of the Town Hall, an anteroom of the old Baščaršija bazaar, built during the Ottoman Empire.
We'll explore Bravadžiluk and Kazandžiluk streets, full of stalls where we'll taste some typical food - we'll even learn their recipes! Then, with our appetites satisfied, we'll continue our full tour of Sarajevo by visiting the Sebilj Fountain, a favourite among locals.
Afterwards, we'll take you to the only remaining Ottoman building in Sarajevo, Morića Han. We'll also visit other temples in the Bosnian capital, such as the Gazi Husrev Bey Mosque and the Synagogue.
Then we'll enter the Markale market, where we'll continue to learn all the secrets of the country's gastronomy. Finally, we'll see the Orthodox Church and the Eternal Flame.
