From a bird’s-eye view, everything looks smaller, but also more spectacular. Rise more than 200 m (656 ft) with your admission to Seoul Tower and enjoy the most incredible views of the South Korean capital.
Originally, Seoul Tower was a simple communications tower. However, since its 200 m high (656 ft) observatory opened to the public, it’s become one of the city’s most relevant tourist attractions. Are you ready to go up?
With this admission, in addition to enjoying its stunning views, you’ll be able to experience what Seoul Tower has to offer. For example, inside you’ll find temporary neon light exhibitions and restaurants such as Hancook or N’Grill.
And of course, you can’t miss taking photos next to the famous Seoul love locks that couples leave attached on the terrace. A truly romantic scene!
In addition, at the base of the tower you’ll find Seoul Tower Plaza, a 4-story shopping center offering everything from clothing stores to a teddy bear museum.
Seoul Tower is open at the following times:
Please note that the last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
Want even more experiences high above Seoul? When making your booking, you can choose the option that also includes a round-trip ticket for the Namsan Cable Car. In this case, from its platform at 83 Sopa-ro in the Jung District, you’ll ascend in a cabin that’ll take you up to Namsan Mountain and Seoul Tower.
The cable car was built in 1962 as the first transport of its kind in South Korea and is a journey suspended between the past and a futuristic skyline. Did you know it was created as a symbol of modernization during the country’s reconstruction?
From inside, you’ll see how the city unfolds with the contrast between the mountain and the modern tower. The uphill ride lasts approximately 3 minutes and reaches a height of up to 138 m (453 ft). Don’t forget your camera!
The Namsan Cable Car operates everyday from 10 am to 11 pm. If you book the option that includes the cable car, you’ll need to collect the tickets at a different location, which will be specified when making the booking. The opening hours of this ticket exchange point are everyday from 10 am to 6 pm.
Please note that a maximum of 1 child under 3 years old is allowed per adult.
