We'll meet at Zephyr Cove Resort, the perfect starting point strategically located to lead you into the snowy heart of the Sierra Nevada range. Upon arrival, you'll meet the team of expert guides who will accompany you throughout the adventure. After a brief safety briefing and instructions on how to easily handle the vehicle, you'll strap on your helmets, hop onto the snowmobiles, and kick off this exciting journey.
You'll begin gliding smoothly over snow-covered tracks, heading deep into fun, winding forest trails lined with dense pine trees. During this ride, covering between 24 and 32 km (15 to 20 mi), always tailored to current weather and snow conditions, you'll maintain an average speed between 24 and 40 km/h (15 to 25 mph). It's the ideal pace to feel the thrill of the ride while soaking in the natural surroundings!
As you advance, you'll gradually ascend the mountain slopes until reaching nearly 2,700 m (8,858 ft) in elevation. From this spectacular ridge high above the alpine peaks, you'll enjoy one of the finest 360-degree panoramic views of the entire Lake Tahoe basin and its crystal-clear waters. To make sure you can capture the moment, we'll make several strategic stops at the trail's most iconic lookouts, giving you plenty of time to snap epic photos.
After 2 hours packed with adrenaline, nature, and dreamy landscapes, you'll make the descent on the snowmobiles and wrap up the tour back at the starting point at Zephyr Cove Resort.
