On our Preikestolen Hiking Activity, you'll walk over the Lysefjord and see Norway's most famous rock, the Preikestolen or 'Pulpit Rock'. Breathtaking scenery and an adventure await!
At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at the meeting point in Stavanger and from there we'll take a 40-minute drive to the base of the famous Preikestolen rock.
Once there, you'll be given directions and begin the ascent to the summit of the Pulpit. The hike will take between 2 and 3 hours, although we'll make several stops along the way to take in the scenery at our leisure.
When we reach the top of Preikestolen, we'll enjoy spectacular views of the Lysefjord fjord, which will leave you speechless! Afterwards, we'll hike downhill for about 2 hours to the base of the rock, where we'll stop for a light Norwegian snack. You can also take the opportunity to eat your packed lunch.
Finally, we'll take a 40-minute drive to the various meeting points in Stavanger, where we'll finally conclude this 7 to 8-hour activity.
