Prepare to experience an unforgettable time in Sucre with an incredibly traditional, folkloric dance event. You'll also be able to indulge in a delicious Andina dinner.
Our journey begins at 7:30 pm when we'll pick you up at your hotel in Sucre and take you to the Espacio Cultural Orígenes. Shortly after, we'll enjoy a magnificent night full of surprises. Once we arrive there, we'll take a seat at the tables that have been assigned to us to watch the folkloric show.
The show will start at 8 pm and last around 2 hours. While you watch, you'll be able to experience the magic of traditional dances from different parts of Bolivia. We'll observe dances such as the morenada, a dance that comes from the Spanish colonisation period, and see the colourful costumes worn by the dancers.
Bolivian folklore comes from the fusion of indigenous, pre-Hispanic, and European traditions, and is known to be one of the richest in the world in terms of intangible heritage. Did you know that Bolivia holds the largest number of dances recognised by UNESCO?
After the show, at around 10 pm, we'll take you back to your hotel in Sucre.
To make your experience even more complete, you can opt for enjoying a delicious typical dinner consisting of Andean dishes such as pique or karapecho. The dinner consists of the first course of beef, chicken, or vegetarian with a side dish, dessert, and a non-alcoholic drink.
Once the night is over, we'll take you back to your hotel in Sucre, where we'll arrive at 10:30 pm.
