On this day trip to the Blue Mountains, you'll explore one of Australia's most important natural parks, as well as visit Scenic World and Sydney Zoo. A day full of adventure!
Tour Options
When booking, you can choose between two different options. Both include pickup from your hotel in Sydney city centre in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and return on a relaxing ferry ride across the iconic Sydney Harbour to Circular Quay. In addition, you'll enjoy the company of an English-speaking guide, download a guidebook written in English and all entrance fees to the sites visited are included.
Below, you can see the details of each option:
Blue Mountains, Scenic World + Sydney Zoo (10.5 Hours)
After picking you up from your hotel in Sydney city centre at the indicated time, our first stop will be the village of Glenbrook, after approximately 1.5 hours of driving, so you can stretch your legs and buy a delicious coffee.
We'll continue our journey to Echo Point, where you'll marvel at the views of the iconic Three Sisters rock formation and be amazed by its history as you take in the panoramic views of the Jamison Valley!
The adventure continues at Scenic World, where you'll experience the thrill of three unique attractions: the Scenic Railway, the world's steepest passenger train, the Scenic Skyway, which will have you gliding through the canopy of the ancient rainforest, and the iconic cable car that offers unparalleled panoramic views of the majestic Blue Mountains.
Afterwards, we'll head to Katoomba Cascades Waterfalls, where you can stroll along the walkways and viewing platforms as you admire the mesmerising cascade of water through the lush vegetation. Then, we'll make a short stop at Cahill’s Lookout, where we'll have a beautiful view of the Megalong Valley.
Our next stop will be the charming town of Leura, known for its tree-lined streets and boutique shops. Here, you'll have an hour of free time to explore and grab a bite to eat in one of the town's cosy cafés or restaurants.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the renowned Sydney Zoo, where you'll be immersed in the fascinating world of Australian wildlife. You'll have the opportunity to feed the kangaroos and get up close to koalas and wombats. You'll also be able to take a photo with a koala!
Finally, we'll conclude the adventure with a leisurely ferry ride on Sydney Harbour, sailing under the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and ending near the majestic Opera House. After 10.5 hours of sightseeing, we'll say our goodbyes at Circular Quay.
Schedule: daily at 7 am
Blue Mountains, Scenic World, Sydney Zoo, Elysian Rock + Lunch (11 Hours)
If you choose this option, in addition to everything mentioned in the previous itinerary, we'll make an additional stop before reaching Echo Point at Elysian Rock, a hidden lookout point offering spectacular panoramic views.
In addition, after visiting Katoomba Cascades Waterfalls, we'll enjoy lunch at a traditional Australian pub. This menu will give you a taste of authentic Australian hospitality.
Feeling refuelled, we'll follow the same route as described above, with a visit to Sydney Zoo and a ferry ride on the harbour.
