Our Private Trips
During the booking process, you can choose from the following options. All include pickup and return transfer to your hotel, transportation by minibus or bus, and an English-speaking guide throughout the tour. Below, you can see the details of each option:
Durrës Day Trip (5-7 Hours)
This option is ideal for those looking for a short excursion that combines classical archaeology with the charm of the Albanian coast.
Our first stop will be at the Roman Amphitheater of Durrës, one of the largest and best-preserved in the Balkans. After exploring this architectural gem, we'll stroll through the vibrant city center, taking in the Byzantine Forum and the Grand Mosque of Durrës, and we'll conclude the guided tour with a walk along its lively waterfront promenade.
We'll enjoy a delicious lunch right on the beach overlooking the Adriatic Sea before returning to the starting point.
Krujë Day Trip (6-8 Hours)
Located at an altitude of about 1968 ft (600 m), the historic city of Krujë offers one of Albania's most iconic medieval scenes.
Upon arrival, we'll visit Fortress of Krujë Castle, the fortified stronghold of national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, and tour its History Museum. Afterward, we'll stroll through its old wooden bazaar, where you'll see local artisans at work weaving traditional rugs and crafting souvenirs.
We'll have lunch at a local restaurant in the historic center with panoramic views of the castle before returning to Tirana.
Berat Day Trip (8-10 Hours)
This tour takes you to the heart of Albania's ancient past. Berat is famous for its stunning blend of Eastern and Western cultures and for its Ottoman houses that seem to cascade down the hillside. This picturesque setting has earned it the nickname "The City of a Thousand Windows."
Once there, we'll climb up to the imposing Citadel, an inhabited fortress that hides ruined mosques and medieval Orthodox churches with intact frescoes. Afterward, we'll visit the Onufri National Museum inside the St. Mary of Blachernae Church to admire a unique collection of sacred icons.
We'll recharge our batteries by enjoying a traditional regional meal at a typical restaurant in Berat's old town. Afterward, we'll return to the starting point.
Shkodër Day Trip (10-12 Hours)
If you choose this option, we'll head north to visit what was once the capital of the Illyrian Empire in the 3rd century BC, now the cultural hub of northern Albania: Shkodër.
We'll explore its historic pedestrian zone, famous for the beautiful architecture of its traditional houses, its grand cathedral, and its mosques. Afterward, we'll climb up to Rozafa Castle to enjoy an unbeatable panoramic view of the entire region and its lakes.
Finally, we'll enjoy a full lunch at a local restaurant. We'll then return to our starting point in Tirana.
