With Civitatis Travel Insurance, you can travel with peace of mind and focus solely on unwinding and enjoying your holiday. Don't let anything spoil your trip!
With Civitatis Travel Insurance, you'll have all the coverage you need, as it includes all medical expenses at the best health centers, repatriation costs, theft and delays of luggage, and even civil liability. We have no deductibles, no upfront payments, and no established list of hospitals. You can go to the most suitable hospital for your needs, wherever in the world you may be.
Of course, you can contact us 24 hours a day, either by phone, email, or even WhatsApp. We're always on hand to help. In addition, this insurance can be booked until 11:59 pm the day before the trip begins.
You can check the full details of the insurance policy here.
All insurance policies offer the same coverage; the only difference is the price, which depends on the number of days of coverage. When booking, you can choose between 3, 5, 10, 15, 21 or 31 days, depending on the length of your trip.
We recommend purchasing our insurance BEFORE starting your trip. If you're already at your destination, there is a 72-hour waiting period from the date of purchase, and coverage related to luggage will be void. The date to select on the calendar is the start date of your trip.
The insurance is not suitable for travel within your country of residence.
You must take into account that while the insurance is valid for any destination, we'll ask you for the destination when making your reservation for internal purposes.
At the following link, you can consult a summary of coverage and maximum compensation limits. Below, we detail the most important types of coverage:
Medical Insurance:
Holidays and trips are normally stress-free and problem-free, but on the odd occasion when something goes wrong, depending on the country you're in, accessing healthcare may be difficult or expensive.
Below, you can see a comparative table of the average cost of medical care by country.
For example, in the United States, the minimum cost for any emergency consultation can vary between 1000USD and 5000USD. In the event of hospitalization, the average stay amounts to 30000USD. Although there are many worse cases, let's stop counting; it's enough to give us goose bumps!
The United States is not the only country with high medical costs. Morocco, Turkey, China and Mexico can also be a nightmare for foreign visitors.
Fortunately, all of the above is a problem that can be avoided by traveling with travel medical insurance. If something happens, you'll still lose a day of your holiday, but at least you won't be hit with any excessive bills!
