On our Tulum Day Trip, we'll explore one of the most well-preserved archaeological sites in Riviera Maya. You'll also go snorkelling in Akumal Bay on this unforgettable adventure.
Day Trip Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at the scheduled time from your hotel and head to Tulum, a town situated on the shores of the Caribbean Sea that's well-known for its incredible archaeological site.
When we reach this picturesque spot, you'll be able to enjoy a 45-minute guided tour of the Mayan ruins, which have the incredible backdrop of a Caribbean beach. You won't be able to stop taking photos!
Next, we'll visit Akumal Bay. You'll spend 45 minutes snorkelling in this paradisiacal Caribbean spot, which is famous for the sea turtles you'll see.
After snorkelling, we'll head to the impressive Mayan cenote of XTun where you can take a dip in this idyllic spot in the Mexican Caribbean.
After this once-in-a-lifetime snorkelling experience, you'll enjoy a delicious Mexican buffet lunch. You can taste dishes such as pibil-style chicken with rice and beans, chicken fajitas, vegetables, rice, salad or the delicious 'tortitas'.
Finally, we'll make our way back to your hotel after a total of around 8.5 hours.
Hotel Pickup
The tour includes pickup from hotels in Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, and Tulum. The pickup times vary depending on the area.
- Playa del Carmen and Riviera Maya: between 7 am and 8:30 am.
- Tulum: Between 8:30 and 8:50.
Important: if you are staying at a private residence, a hostal, or B&B-style accommodation, we will pick you up from there or a nearby meeting point.
Pickup at hotels in Tulum has a supplement of 10USD per person to be paid directly at the destination. If you prefer, you can go to this meeting point in Tulum: Super Aki Tulum at 9 am.
