Rafting Details
After picking you up from your hotel in Turrialba at the designated time, we'll begin our journey towards the Siquirres area. We'll then reach the shores of the Pacuare River after 1 hour. Ready for an adventure?
Once we arrive, we'll gear up with all the necessary equipment for the rafting activity and host an informative session about safety measures as well as some techniques for how to paddle efficiently. Having completed these preparations, we'll then be ready to face the brave waters of the Pacuare River.
We'll dive into the water and begin rowing to reach some of the most challenging sections, such as Huacas Arriba, Huacas Abajo, Cimarrones, and Dos Montañas. Time to put your strength to the test!
We'll travel down class II, III, and IV rapids, true skill and teamwork challenges. Over the course of 4 hours, we'll pass through canyons surrounded by lush tropical vegetation as we admire waterfalls and the richness of Costa Rica's wildlife. Perhaps we'll even encounter the popular sloths..
After our activity aboard the rafts, we'll return to solid ground to make our way to a place with showers available and where you'll get to enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. We'll get to indulge in a barbecue of meat or fish, gallo pinto, salad, and fried plantains or tostones. Enjoy!
Lastly, we'll begin our return journey back to Turrialba, passing by the Reventazón River canyon and the Turrialba Volcano. After a total of 7 hours, we'll say our goodbyes back at your hotel.
