Mount Batur Private Off-Roading Tour (7 Hours)

Bright and early, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bali at the designated time to start this private off-roading tour of Mount Batur. Are you ready to see one of the most breathtaking sunrises in Bali?

After an approximately 1-hour scenic drive through the quiet Balinese countryside, you'll arrive at the base camp, where you'll meet your driver and enjoy a warm welcome drink before starting the ascent.

From here, we'll board an off-roading vehicle and climb toward the sunrise viewpoint. The journey itself is part of the experience, as you pass through rugged black lava fields and dramatic volcanic landscapes under the stars.

After about 1.5 hours, we'll reach the viewpoint, located on the eastern side of Mount Batur, standing at around 4429 ft (1350 m) above sea level. It's the perfect place to admire the sunrise! As the sky begins to change colors, you'll enjoy a simple breakfast served with a hot drink while taking in panoramic views of Mount Batur and the surrounding valley.

After sunrise, we'll descend back to the base camp. If you wish, the experience can continue with an optional visit to a local coffee plantation, where you can learn about traditional Balinese coffee production and sample different varieties.

Finally, we'll conclude the tour 7 hours after pickup by dropping you off back at your hotel.

Mount Batur Private Off-Roading Tour + Black Lava (8 Hours)

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Bali to kick off our private off-roading tour of Mount Batur. After arriving at the base camp after a 1-hour drive, you'll meet your driver and enjoy a hot drink before setting off toward the sunrise viewpoint in our off-roading vehicle.

We'll reach the viewpoint after 1.5 hours just in time to witness the spectacular sunrise from approximately 4429 ft (1350 m) above sea level. As the light slowly reveals the volcanic landscape, you'll be served a light breakfast and hot drink. You'll love the views!

After sunrise, instead of heading straight back, we'll continue our adventure by driving for about 1 hour to explore Black Lava. Did you know that this formation was created from the largest eruption of Mount Batur? Driving through these vast fields of hardened lava offers a completely different perspective of the volcano.

Then, we'll drive for 20 minutes to head to Akasa Coffee, where we'll stop to relax and take in the scenic views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Here, you can take incredible photos of one of Bali's most striking natural settings.

On the way back to your hotel, if you wish, you can also stop at a local coffee plantation, where you can learn about traditional production methods and taste local coffee and tea. 

Finally, we'll conclude this 8-hour tour by returning to your hotel. 

Hotel Pickup

Both tours include pickup from your hotel in Bali. Please note the following pickup times for each location:

• Nusa Dua, Jimbaran: pickup will be at 2:30 am
• Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Canggu: pickup will be at 2:30 am
• Ubud: pickup will be at 3 am
