Activity Details
At the appointed time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Corte Fornello winery, where we'll be warmly welcomed, ready for a delicious day!
Hand in hand with the hosts, we'll learn how to prepare fresh handmade pasta from scratch, making the dough and shaping different types of traditional pasta with special attention to the famous classic tortellini from Valeggio, the region's symbol. Plus, during this class, we'll make other pastas like spaghetti and tagliatelle, each with its own charm, texture and character.
During a 1-hour hands-on class, we'll feel right at home as we follow in the chef's footsteps. Moreover, no previous experience is necessary, just curiosity and the desire to taste authentic Italian cuisine. To complete the experience, we'll enjoy a glass of wine of "Dorè" Blanco Frizzante, the best way to dive into the local cuisine.
After the fresh pasta class, the experience continues with a 40-minute guided tour of the winery. A member of the family will accompany us on a tour of the vineyards, the vinification and bottling area, and the old 18th-century barrel cellar. Every corner reflects the passion that goes into every bottle!
After discovering how they are made, the most awaited moment will come: a tasting of four selected wines, paired with a board of cured meats and artisanal cheeses. How about a toast? Cheers! To end on a high note, we'll show you the correct technique to cook the tortellini that we made before.
About 3 hours later, we'll finish this gastronomic experience at the Corte Fornello winery.
