Bratislava Day Trip & Danube Cruise
Meet your guide in front of the Vienna Opera House first thing in the morning, ready for your journey to Bratislava by bus. On arrival in the Slovakian capital, you'll visit the Old Town accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide. Explore the historic streets, seeing important monuments such as the legendary Bratislava Castle; the Bridge of the Slovak National Uprising, or Most SNP, which crosses the Danube; and the Church of St. Elizabeth, nicknamed the Blue Church.
After discovering the history of Bratislava and visiting its most iconic landmarks, you'll have free time to wander the streets at your own pace. Why not find a restaurant to sample some typical local delicacies or head to the shops to buy some Slovakian souvenirs?
In the afternoon, you'll head to the dock at Razus Embankment, where you'll board the "Twin City Liner" catamaran which will take you back to Vienna. Enjoy the cruise down the Danube and admire the unique views of the passing countryside on your journey.
This excursion includes a pick up service from certain hotels in Vienna city centre. If when making the reservation your hotel does not appear in the drop-down list, please select the last option (Wiener Staaptsoper/State Opera) and make your way to the meeting point at the scheduled time.
Please bear in mind that this tour crosses over country borders, so you must bring your passport or national ID, and a visa if required, to enter Slovakia.
