Meet us at the Wanaka isite Visitor Information Center, where we'll provide transportation via minibus to the captivating surroundings of Lake Hawea. Are you prepared to fall in love with this picturesque gem nestled in the South Island of New Zealand?
Once we arrive, we'll provide you with bicycles and offer guidance on various routes to explore the area's key attractions. You'll have three hours to relish the magnificent views of Lake Hawea in the Otago region, situated within a glacial valley. You can partake in activities like fishing, swimming, or kayaking here. You'll be amazed by the significant number of locals who visit this lake daily!
We highly recommend taking on the Hawea River Track. This scenic route follows the river and offers spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, you can explore Albert Town, visit the source of the Clutha River, and even enjoy a relaxing coffee in the charming town of Hawea.
