Our free walking tour of Warsaw is the ideal way to begin to discover the capital of Poland. On this tour by foot you will see the Royal Castle, the Presidential Palace, famous Market Square and much more!

Free Walking Tour of Warsaw

The tour meets next to Sigmundson's Column in Castle Square: home to the Royal Castle, the former official residence of the Polish Royal Family until the country was declared a republic in 1918.

Over two and a half hours, a local, expert guide will teach you about the Polish capital, bringing its long history to life, as well as immersing you in its traditions, culture and people. You'll learn of the significance of the Warsaw Mermaid, see the Copernicus Monument and hear of his achievements as well as taking in historical churches and beautiful viewpoints overlooking the Vistula river.

And one of the highlights is certainly the Market Square, which although it looks like a 17th-century place of commerce, was actually reconstructed in the mid 20th century to look exactly as it did before its destruction by the German army in 1944.

After a tour around the most representative places in Warsaw, we'll head back to the meeting point, where the tour ends, and you'll be feeling just that little bit more Polish. Okrzyki!
