Yangon Bike & Food Tour

When you make your booking, you’ll be able to choose if you want to take the tour in the morning or in the afternoon. Both tours start and end at the same place: number 126, 40th Street, Yangon.

Morning Tour

This tour will start at 7:30 am, and we’ll head from the meeting point to the point in the south of the city via bamboo bikes. When we reach the port, we’ll take a 15-minute ferry ride to Dala.

In the picturesque village of Dala, we’ll continue our bike tour, exploring this rural area of Myanmar, full of incredible natural beauty. You’ll also see the customs and traditions of the local community. When hunger starts setting in, we’ll return to the port and take the ferry back to the centre of Yangon.

Once back in Myanmar, we’ll head to a local restaurant where you’ll be able to enjoy a delicious noodle soup and various typical starters and snacks. With our energy replenished, we’ll continue to the Bogyoke Aung San Market where you’ll learn more about the main ingredients in the traditional cuisine. This bike and food tour will come to an end at the original meeting point at 12:30 pm.

Afternoon Tour

With this option, we’ll meet at 1 pm and, similarly to the morning tour, we’ll cycle to the port to take the ferry to Dala, where we’ll explore the incredible natural surroundings as we cycle around on bamboo bikes. After we’ve explored this area, we’ll take the ferry back to the city centre.

In the centre of Myanmar, you’ll be able to enjoy an exquisite samosa salad and noodle soup. After this simple, yet delicious meal, we’ll head to a tea shop, where you’ll try a traditional tea. Do you know about the restorative properties in tea? You’re sure to be surprised! Finally, we’ll return to the initial meeting point at 5:30 pm.
