How does it work?
Your ticket is valid for 24 consecutive hours from when it is activated. For example, if you first use it on Monday at 3:00pm, it will be valid until Tuesday at 3:00pm.
In that period of 24 hours you will be able to access the bus as many times as you like. This makes it easy for you to explore the main attractions of the city. Observe the remains of the grand York Castle from the vantage point of the Clifford Tower. Explore York Cathedral, the largest gothic style building in Great Britain (York Minster). Visit the famous botanical gardens (Museum Gardens) and learn about the Viking history of York (Jorvik Viking Centre).
When the booking is made you must indicate the date in which you want it to take effect. You then have a period of 15 days from that date in which you can use it.
When you have made the reservation, you will receive an email containing a voucher that you must present the first time you catch the bus.
Timetable and frequency
This York sightseeing bus leaves every half an hour, everyday, between 9:00am and 5:30pm. During the months of November and December, the tour operates between 10:00am and 2:30pm. The total journey, without stops, takes one hour.
