The tour was very interesting giving the history of cork production in Portugal, including how Cork is grown, it's natural properties, it's many uses and we even got an opportunity to get hands on. The only slight drawback is that it is a bit noisy and hard to hear the guide. It is of course a working cork factory but I'd suggest a microphone for the guide would be very helpful, so that people don't miss anything. Otherwise highly recommended

Wonderful tour and guide Ricardo was fantastic. There was also a 'trainee' second guide Maratim (apologies for my spelling) who was equally lovely. I picked up an injury after I booked the tour and they were so attentive, respectful and supportive, continuously offering assistance. I advise caution as injury or not, potential customers should be of the physical demands of the tour. The tour offered spectacular views. As it was off season, available toilet facilities were very limited.
