At the indicated time we'll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the volcanic caves of Terceira. Are you ready to discover the hidden underworld on the island? You definitely won't be disappointed!
First, we'll travel in a comfortable minibus to the Gruta do Natal - the perfect place to start discovering the volcanic secrets of Terceira. Inside the cave, we'll see the unique vegetation that can be found, such as the holly, the moss, or the laurel.
The next volcanic cave we'll visit is Algar do Carvão, a true natural wonder. Located within the Guilherme Moniz caldera, this cave houses a subterranean lake that creates an incredibly magical atmosphere.
What's more, the tour will take us to the Furnas do Enxofre, where we'll see the steam and white vapors produced by the volcanic activity in the area. Cameras at the ready to capture this phenomenon! Our last stop will be Lagoa das Patas, a pond surrounded by huge cedar trees that holds a very rare and unique beauty.
Lastly, we'll return to your hotel, ending the tour after three hours.

This tour includes pick-up from hotels located in the city center of Angra do Heroísmo. In case your hotel isn't located in that area, you'll have to choose between these two meeting points:
