Narrow streets, white stone houses and flower-filled courtyards: discover the charming Peruvian city of Arequipa and explore the Santa Catalina Monastery on this guided tour.
Arequipa & Santa Catalina Monastery Tour
After picking you up from your hotel at the selected time, we'll begin our guided tour of Arequipa. Throughout our tour, we'll explore its labyrinthine streets lined with sillar houses that have led to its nickname as the White City of Peru.
We'll stop at the viewpoints of Carmen Alto and Yanahuara to kick off our tour with the best panoramic views of Arequipa, before making a stop where you can taste a typical local milk dessert known as "queso helado" (not included).
Our next stop will be in the Plaza de Armas, home to the historic Basilica Cathedral of Arequipa and the Jesuit Church. We'll then continue to the Monastery of Santa Catalina de Siena. In this large convent complex, we'll discover intriguing legends as we explore the impressive cloisters and beautiful gardens.
The tour will come to an end in front of the Santa Catalina Monastery after two hours discovering the historic centre of Arequipa.
