We'll pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8 am and drive in a 4x4 vehicle to the village of Materuni, where we'll start our trekking route to Materuni Waterfalls.
Walking along lush trails, we'll tell you all about the flora and fauna of lower Mount Kilimanjaro. During our hour-long hike to the Materuni Waterfalls, we'll also see the houses of the Chagga, the people that inhabit this area of Tanzania.
Arriving at the Materuni Waterfalls, you'll be dazzled by the natural beauty of this huge waterfall, whose waters come from the snows of Mount Kilimanjaro. You'll have free time here to admire the waterfall at your leisure and to take a dip in its pools.
After renewing our energy with a picnic lunch, we'll continue the excursion. In this second part of the tour, we'll visit a coffee plantation where we'll learn all about this precious product. We'll see how it's roasted and, of course, taste a cup of local coffee too.
Finally, we'll head back to the 4x4 to return to your hotel in Arusha, where we'll arrive at approximately 5 pm.
