Tour Details
After picking you up in the lobby of your hotel in Beijing, we'll embark on a tour that will take us to visit the most important places in the city.
Our first stop will be the Temple of Heaven. This is one of the largest sacred spaces in China, once used by the emperor himself to give thanks for current and future harvests.
The second stop will be the Forbidden City, the largest and best conserved imperial residence in all of China. This was home to 24 Chinese emperors who ruled the country for more than 500 years. We'll tour the most historically important parts of the palace complex, discovering its history and legends.
Then, after lunch, we'll make our way to the Summer Palace, which was used as the imperial garden over several dynasties used to escape from the claustrophobic heat of the Forbidden City in summer.
We'll finish this 8 hour tour dropping you off at your hotel.
Important Info
Please note that admission to the Forbidden City is limited, especially on busy dates. Due to this, we recommend booking this activity at least 7 days in advance. During the booking process, you must make sure your passport number is correct, as this cannot be modified afterwards.
