Icebar Berlin: The Coolest Bar in Germany

Welcome to Icebar Berlin: Polar Expedition! As soon as you walk through the doors, you'll be transported to an old sailor-inspired tavern and welcomed with a cocktail. Don't worry, the freezing cold has not yet reached this first room—the adventure is about to begin!

When you finish your drink, it's time to wrap up warmly in thermal clothing and enter the ice room, at 10 degrees below zero! There, you will enter a scenario that recreates the icy landscapes of the Arctic, with walls of ice and frozen glasses.

What's more, the Icebar will delight you with two other drinks, to choose between beer, orange juice, or vodka shot. What do you prefer? Between each drink, you will feel how the environment simulates the progress of the ship between blocks of ice...and the unexpected moment when it gets trapped!

The experience is inspired by the expedition of the Hansa, a German ship that set sail in 1896 from Bremergaven to the North Pole. The setting allows you to relive this historic voyage, in which the crew, trapped in the ice and with limited resources, managed to survive for a year, a real feat that comes to life in this unique themed bar!

After spending 20 minutes in this icy grotto, you can leave the Icebar Berlin or stay in its warm room for another 15 minutes—it's up to you!
