Ticket Details
The Royal Château de Blois, which stands majestically over the Loire River, is a key monument to understanding the history of France between the 13th and 18th centuries. This building combines different styles, including Gothic, Baroque, and French Renaissance architecture. This skip-the-line entrance will allow you to learn all about its evolution by visiting the different rooms at your own pace.
The Château de Blois, whose history is linked to seven kings and ten queens of France, is divided into four main areas: the remains of the old medieval fortress and the Louis XII, François I and Gaston d'Orléans wings. In the latter three, you can see the kings' and queens' quarters decorated to the taste of the different French monarchs.
It's also worth visiting the oratory and the Council Chamber, which were designed to receive the leaders who came to Blois to negotiate various international treaties with the kingdom of France.
Don't miss the château's iconic staircase! This famous helical staircase presents several Renaissance sculptures. Find out what they represent during your visit! Along with those of Chambord, this staircase is among the most famous steps of the Châteaux of the Loire Valley.
